Greg and Ronnie Burghardt have owned and operated Rockaway Garden Center since 1982. Along with our friendly, knowledgeable staff we work together to bring you the quality plants and service specializing in our customer's personal needs.
For the 21st century we have joined Master Nursery Garden Centers, Inc. the nations finest and largest member owned independent retail garden center cooperative. We will be bringing our customers private label products suitable for their local needs at the very best prices.
All of our annuals, and most of our perennials and shrubs, are New Jersey grown — assuring local adaptability, hardiness and long life.
Rockaway Garden Center also has the distinction of having been selected as a Garden Splendor® garden center — bringing you select perennials and shrubs found only at choice Garden Splendor® garden centers.
Our nursery has display gardens, which coordinate the seasons with our merchandise. We also offer free timely seminars, so that our customers can make the best gardening decisions. We appreciate our valued customers and thus have developed a Value Card program to reward your purchases.
